Purcella Cemetery - Temporary Page
The majority of markers in this cemetery have degraded beyond the point of readability. During our visit, we found rocks placed at approximate points that would indicate a grave, but no other markers or information. Many of the markers were wooden crosses that have fallen apart and what ever was imprinted on the markers are no longer readable.
Listed below are photos of Joe Purcella and Joseph Prucella Jr. markers. Also, I have created a map of sorts to help in placement which is the last item on this page. I have included an over view photo as well to help in placing these markers for those who would physically visit these graves. Please click on the small photo for a larger view.

Purcella 68 Years Row 2, Plot 8 This marker was leaning at approximately a 45 degree angle and the imprinting is very faint. When I return to this cemetery in the spring, I will take materials to do a rubbing of the stone and will load that on the site. |
